Stevenswood HR Manager raises nearly £1,500 for local charity

Jo McInally HR Manager for Stevenswood raised nearly £1,500 for the Domestic Abuse Service in Livingston, West Lothian, last week. 

The money raised was to purchase a years’ supply of mobile phone handsets for anybody affected by abuse in their homes. Abuser’s will break or takeaway a victim’s phone if they think they will call for help.

Craig Scott, Sales Director for Stevenswood contacted Craig Russell, Senior Merchandise Planning Manager at Tesco Mobile for some advice and they kindly donated 40 handsets with sims and credit.

Funds raised will now go towards CCTV units for the homes. 

This is a picture of Kim Kidd, Women’s Domestic Assault, Sexual Abuse Team case worker collecting the mobile handsets from Stevenswood head office today. They will be stored at Almondvale Park Livingston for police and social work to hand out as they deem appropriate.
